MY family is my "why"

My family is big—like “cousin group chat” big! To give you an idea, I’m one of 30 first cousins on my mom’s side and 14 on my dad’s. It’s a little wild, but I absolutely love it. Growing up, we had so many family gatherings, but not all of them were documented. So, I became the cousin who always brought a camera—starting with my trusty little pink point-and-shoot.

At first, my sisters thought it was annoying (and they were not shy about saying so), but now? Everyone’s so grateful for those memories. Thanks to that pink camera, we have photos of my cousins with our grandfather, my mom with her sisters, and so many other moments that might’ve slipped by. Those pictures mean everything to us, and that’s why I’m so passionate about giving that gift to other families.

Every family has a story that deserves to be celebrated and preserved. How you spend your time together, the way you love each other, and the people who make up your unique family—it all matters. My goal is to help you capture those memories in a way that feels authentic and meaningful, so they’ll be cherished for generations to come.

When I photograph, I look past the obvious to capture the moments that might seem simple at first but hold so much meaning when you stop to notice them—hands intertwined, tiny toes wiggling in the sand, the quiet, loving glance a parent gives their child. These are the moments that often pass us by, unnoticed in the rush of daily life.

When you look through my images, I want them to make you think - Wow, I didn’t even realize this was happening around me when she shot this. Those are the moments that are most precious: the ones we didn’t even realize were happening. This is the storyteller I want to be.

I value all my clients and my goal is for them to feel confident and comfortable.. I will bring an element of ease and thoughtfulness to being your family photographer that no one else can. I do not see you as a “client”; rather, I see myself as the person lucky enough to be invited to participate in some of the most important and intimate moments of your life.
